Ready to explore Vesalius Museum?
From Wednesday 30 September onwards, you can buy tickets for an individual visit to the museum. We look forward to welcoming you from 16 December onwards, after the opening weekend festivities.
Ticket sales for the opening weekend
On 12 and 13 December, we will be opening the doors of the new Vesalius Museum. Be among the very first to visit the museum and enjoy a special programme. Ticket sales for this weekend start on Tuesday 17 November.
Buy your ticket online
Reserve your tickets in advance. Pay online and receive the tickets immediately by e-mail. You will also choose a time slot during the booking process, so that you can decide for yourself when to start your visit.

- Students aged 19 to 25: € 8

Opening hours We’re opening soon!
The museum is still being built, so it isn’t accessible to the public yet.
We will be welcoming our first visitors at the opening weekend on 12 and 13 December. From Wednesday 16 December onwards, the museum will be open at its normal opening hours.

- Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10.00 to 17.00.
- Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Exceptional closing times
- We will also be closed on 25 December and 1 January.
- On 24 and 31 December, we will close at 16:00.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to reserve in advance?
We do strongly recommend that you make a reservation online. That way, you can be sure that you will be able to visit at the time of your choice. You can also buy your ticket at reception, as long as places are available.
What is a time slot?
Your time slot indicates the time when your visit begins. Come to the museum within one hour of when your chosen time slot starts. Then you can stay for as long as you like, until closing time.
Do I need to print out my e-ticket?
No, you can download your ticket as a pdf and simply let us scan it from your smartphone. You will always be able to find your tickets in the Ticketmatic app as well.
What are the opening hours of reception?
Reception and the museum shop are open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 17.00, just like the museum. Tickets are available from reception until half an hour before closing time. You can order online tickets 24/7.
If I am eligible for a discount, do I need to show proof?
Yes. If you are buying a discount ticket or entitled to free admission, bring a valid discount, membership or staff card with you. We might ask to see it during your visit.
Can I cancel or exchange my ticket?
No, tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded.
